My latest audio release is The Pulse Cure by Dr Torkil Færø, out on January 4th. I learnt a lot from this fascinating book and will be trying to put some of it into practice. And always lovely to work with 2020 Recordings.
I’ve nearly finished recording another great book for Hachette: A History of the World in Twelve Shipwrecks by David Gibbins. This will be published by W&N on February 8It’s absolutely riveting: fascinating stories, superbly told by an expert in his field.
I ended 2023 with two very enjoyable trips to lecture for the Arts Society: to Berlin (to talk about David Niven) and to Stirling (for P G Wodehouse). A very warm welcome from both societies.
Over the Christmas period there were virtual tours and guided walks on A Christmas Carol, as well as my Sherlock Holmes Christmas Walk, following the trail of The Blue Carbuncle.
